About Student centre Zagreb
Student Centre Zagreb was founded in 1957 and now is a multi-functional space in the heart of the city. SC works on improving student living standard on all levels and in cultural activities, through its Department of culture - it organises and produces shows, performances, conferences and workshops in the fields of music, film, visual arts, theatre. The main goal of SC is to create innovative, economic and educational frameworks of cultural production in order to influence cultural practices in Croatia and internationally. Theatre production is manifested in SC’s own theatre - Teatar &TD, founded in the 1960’s, as the opposition to the classical theatres. &TD is not limited by genres and stylistic criteria, which opens up the possibility of establishing new production aesthetics and contemporary forms of co-production, post production and collaboration.

U četvrtak, 13. lipnja, Studentski centar u Zagrebu proslavit će 20. godina postojanja STUDOM-a i 62. rođendan Studentskoga centra, prigodnim sportskim i glazbenim programom u SD Stjepan Radić, Jarunska 2. Odigrat će se završne utakmice, a najboljim ekipama i pojedincima STUDOMA-a 2019. (STUDOM je kratica od „studentski dom“, a predstavlja sportska natjecanja studenata koji stanuju u studentskim naseljima; Cvjetno, Stjepan Radić, Ante Starčević i Lašćina) dodijelit će se nagrade i priznanja. Nakon toga na rasporedu je besplatan koncert Blagdan Banda u dvorani PAUK. Blagdan Band čine itekako svima dobro poznati riječki glazbenici; Zoran Prodanović Prlja (vokal), Sandro Bastiančić (bas), Alen Tibljaš (bubnjevi), Mladen Zec (gitara) i Vlado Simcich Vava (gitara) čije glazbene uspjehe vežemo uz neka od najvećih alternativnih i rock imena na ovim prostorima, poput Let 3, Laufer i En Face. Njihov repertoar seže od 50-ih s Eddiejem Cochranom do 90-ih s Blurovskim uspješnicama, od T. Rex do Talking Heads i natrag. Iza sebe imaju dva službena nosača zvuka: 'Palach's Not Dead' (1996) i 'Živio album!' (2014), oba snimljena uživo, bez studijskih trikova i naknadnih intervencija. Nakon koncerta slijedi DJ program by Ante Mikulandra.
Sportski program na rasporedu je od 18:30, a koncert počinje u 22:00. Ulaz na sve je besplatan.
