About Student centre Zagreb
Student Centre Zagreb was founded in 1957 and now is a multi-functional space in the heart of the city. SC works on improving student living standard on all levels and in cultural activities, through its Department of culture - it organises and produces shows, performances, conferences and workshops in the fields of music, film, visual arts, theatre. The main goal of SC is to create innovative, economic and educational frameworks of cultural production in order to influence cultural practices in Croatia and internationally. Theatre production is manifested in SC’s own theatre - Teatar &TD, founded in the 1960’s, as the opposition to the classical theatres. &TD is not limited by genres and stylistic criteria, which opens up the possibility of establishing new production aesthetics and contemporary forms of co-production, post production and collaboration.

Natječaj za izlaganje u Galeriji SC u 2019.
Galerija SC poziva umjetnike i kustose da se prijave na natječaj za izlaganje u 2019. godini. Rok prijave je 22. lipanj 2018.
Otvaramo poziv za prijavu samostalne i skupne izložbe, radionica, akcija, performansa, kustoske koncepcije, interdisciplinarne projekte za program Galerije SC u 2019. godini. Prijaviti se mogu i projekti za druge prostore SC-a (Kiosk, Caffe ITD-a, predvorje Kina,…).
Programske smjernice Galerije SC posebno podržavaju mlade autore, ali i one autore koji žele unutar svojih prijedloga iskoristiti interdisciplinarne mogućnosti prostora Studentskog centra.
Prijava treba sadržavati:
POPUNJENU PRIJAVNICU GALERIJE SC,
popratni materijal na dropboxu (do 5 fotografija/skica, video ili audio zapisi).
Prijave se mogu donijeti u Galeriju, poslati poštom (Galerija SC, Savska 25, 10 000 Zagreb) i poslati mailom na galerija@sczg.hr
Prijave razmatra Savjet Galerije, a rezultati će biti objavljeni na webu Galerije SC. Nepotpune, nepravilno ispunjene i zakašnjele prijave neće se razmatrati.

Call for exhibition proposals for 2019
SC Gallery invites artists and curators to apply for the call for exhibition proposals for 2019. The deadline for applications is June 22nd 2018.
Applications refer to solo and group exhibitions, workshops, actions, performances, curatorial concepts, interdisciplinary projects. Applications are open for projects outside the SC Gallery as well (Kiosk, Caffe &TD, and Kino SC lobby).
The application must contain:
- filled out SC Gallery application
- accompanying material (up to 5 photos/sketches, video and/or audio material – sent via dropbox)
Applications can be delivered by person to the Gallery, sent by mail (SC Gallery, Savska 25, 10 000 Zagreb) or e-mail (galerija@sczg.hr)
Gallery Council will consider applications and the results will be published on the website (sczg.unizg.hr) and emailed to applicants. Incomplete, late and incorrect applications will not be considered.
